Prime Minister of India Vs. Chief Minister of Kerala ::: Present & Future

This is actually from my debate in a Social Networking site. The debate was on the comment said by Rahul Gandhi during his election campaign in Kerala about the age of Kerala CM. (http://www.asianage.com/india/rahul-kerala-you-want-93-yr-old-cm-660)

In the debate somebody commented that PM couldn't even win in a self government election and he is almost similar age of CM of Kerala.

My Views ::

Winning in a panchayath election is not a criteria especially when it come to a position like Prime Minister. Yes of course, he is leading a country where 121 crores of people are staying. In spite of this he should be educated with good sound of knowledge in Finance, Law, Environment, Foreign Affairs, Politics ; should have well manners, a professional, a good visionary, a good negotiator, honesty & integrity, truthfulness, ability to understand the people, a good motivator, a good decision maker etc.. Because he is the man who represents the whole country.

Dr Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, since 2004, is one of the most honored Statesmen in the globe. He is known for his integrity, honesty, knowledge and intelligence in economic and financial matters.

Just see his Academic Qualifications :

1. Placed in first position in BA (Hons), Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, 1952

2. Placed in first position in MA (Economics), Panjab University, Chandigarh, 1954

3. Wright's Prize for distinguished performance at St John's College, Cambridge, 1955 and 1957

4. Wrenbury scholar, University of Cambridge, 1957;

5. DPhil (Oxford), DLitt (Honoris Causa); PhD thesis on India's export competitiveness

You count the above said factors in terms for our CM or CM candidates ( in LDF & UDF). How many of them are coming at least near 80%? I am sure not our present CM.

As I said earlier our CM was just a man who do not have any right to express in all aspect and by all means. Either he himself or his party stopped being a good CM. But end of the day the man who led the state for the last 5 years is responsible for anything and everything. During the announcement of candidates CM himself claimed that he became an old man and not possible to win one more election ( the story behind is still kept secret ).

You can't blame Rahul Gandhi for this. Because he said the truth which our CM admitted before few days.

Rahul Gandhi is a very prospective & deserving candidate to become the future Prime Minister of India. He is young, talented, got the right personality and lineage to represent our country in the world's foremost councils. Being a young blood he must be emerging with new ideas.

His past is not the question. The relevant question is what is he today at present. He is the man who influence the budding youngsters within the party to jointly rise beyond any barriers to deliver the country from poverty and communal forces.

Yes, he still in the learning stage and that the reason he refused to accept any cabinet positions. Good sign is that he himself aware about what is he. He need to gain experience in life, politics, in statesmanship, leadership, and so many other things and has to climb many steps to aspire for top slots in Governance. I hope he knows it better than anyone else. He has a long way to go and I believe he will take any charge in cabinet once after having much experience in politics.

You agree or not Rahul Gandhi will be our next PM. Definitely he will lead this democratic country tomorrow.
